The Benicia Unified School District has had a long-standing relationship with the Benicia Police Department and the D.A.R.E. program. Robert Semple Elementary has had the honor of hosting some of Benicia’s finest Officers lead our students through an established national D.A.R.E. curriculum.

Our D.A.R.E. Officer, Officer Cruz, has been working in the Benicia Unified School District as a School Resource Officer for nine years and he has been our Robert Semple D.A.R.E. Officer for six years! He is respected and well-liked by the students at Robert Semple.
